Hello, I am starting a fundraiser for my dear friends niece and fiance who were in a horrible accident on Sunday. Jayce, Bethany and their beautiful dog Miss Penelope were driving back to their campsite after getting a sunday evening ice cream in Chester, happily talking about wedding plans.... Unfortunately a car drifted into their lane and ran head on into this families truck. Their truck had burst into flames, fortunately a chp officer came upon the scene pretty quickly tied a rope to the door and pulled it open with his squad car. They were able to get out of the vehicle, but their St. Bernard Penelope ran out of the truck and into the forrest. Jayce and Bethany were life flighted to Enloe Hospital where they are both undergoing surgery.



There has been a search team that is driving up from Chico in the early morning and staying until dark looking for their beloved St. Bernard, the entire town of Chester is helping in their seach efforts. She was spotted late Monday evening, but has not been seen since. This campaign will help in the search for Miss  Penelope as well as medical expenses for both them and Penelope.

This young couple could use all the help they can get. Bethany is being released from the hospital today June 15 and plans on driving up to Chester first thing in the morning
