Hi everyone
Each year around this time, I open my supplement drawer and realize I’m down to taking half of my regular vitamins because my prescribed regimen is more than I can afford.
What with COVID-19 and the stay at home orders, my part time dog care business has dropped by 75%. This makes my financial picture more critical than a pre Covid times.
As you might remember I have Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow Cancer) and thankfully am more stable at present than I’ve ever been since 2013. The less dangerous drug treatments that I’m on now didn’t exist back then. Great advances are occurring in Multiple Myeloma treatment. So my prognosis is good and will steadily improving.
From the beginning it has been obvious to me that supplements serve not only my response to treatments but also resistance the common side effects that can be challenging.
So here I am seven years in and my doctor says that I am stable. This verdict is good for now. Until there is a absolute cure I am content. Remission in this particular type of cancer is fragile. If the disease returns, long term survival is rarely sustainable.
So I would be grateful if you can help with even a small donation to support this important part of my continued health and well-being. Thank you.
As some of you know I have applied to relocate to senior low income housing in the Lake County CA . I am hopeful that once I reside in affordable housing that meeting basic health expenses will be easier.
My goal of $1500 is to cover at least the next 10-12 months worth of supplements for my continued health and stability.
I am grateful to many of you who have supported me over the last few years. I can’t wait to be in Lake County post COVID 19 so I can see and thank many of you in person.
