National Student Leadership Conference
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tori. I come from a family that has always struggled with money. In spite of this I have run a garage sale using donated things from family and friends in order to pay my own way for horse camp. I got involved with 4-H in order to gain more experience and to sell my cows to continue to pay for the opportunities that I want without being a burden on an already struggling financial situation. I have returned over 4000 bottles in order to pay my way in competitive cheer and during all of this I maintained my grades and cultivated a long distance relationship.
In spite of all my efforts I now find myself in need of more than I can get myself. I was invited to the National Student Leadership Conference and have the chance to study Psychology and Neuroscience at one of the top Universities in the country. (I applied to take this class at Harvard!) Though my admission is assured, my tuition is not. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I just don't have the kind of time needed to find a way to fund this myself. I am no stranger to hard work and in all my 16 years I have never backed down from a challenge. I once even finished a 5k with a fractured leg!!
I would be eternally grateful for any level of assistance that you would be able to provide and assure you that this will be an investment toward my future that will assuredly bear fruit in my life. Thank you for your attention and consideration in helping me have a brighter future.
God Bless!
God Bless!
