My name is Matthew. On Labor Day 2022 my Mom, Diane, after suffering in agony for months from stomach pains was diagnosed with colon cancer. A few days later, half of her colon was removed and they immediately started her on chemo. She was back in the hospital again right before Christmas having to spend almost a week there due to severe complications with the chemo. As you can guess her medical bills are astronomical. Not only is she a new homeowner and barely making bills with chemo making it hard for her to work, but she's unable to afford the chemo treatments. My Mom is an extremely charismatic and kind person. She's my best friend and my biggest fan and has her first grandbaby on the way. That's why I don't think she deserves the financial hell she's been thrown into.
