HELP MY ANGEL GET TO HEAVEN
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Laurie Rocap. I am a mom of three wonderful children. I was soon to be a grandmother of a second beautiful baby girl. Her name is Vanessa Rose Esquivel. Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. My daughter in law was to give birth by c-section on Friday, April 22, 2016. What was suppose to be the most happiest day of our lives has turned to tragady. Through my daughter in laws pregnancy, she became high risk with diabetes and high blood pressure. This made it to where my son and his wife had two to three doctors visits weekly. With all the care that we thought she was recieving, we thought that she would deliver a beautiful, healthy baby girl. On Tuesday, April 19th, my son and daughter in law went on a routine doctors appointment where she was told that the babies head was positioned in the birth canal. She was sent home at the end of her visit being told that her doctor was on vacation so return on Friday for a follow up. Friday, upon returning for the scheduled doctors visit, there was no ultrasound performed that day and the doctor did not even check the babies heartbeat. Francis was told to go to Kendall Baptist hospital that day to perform a c-section and to text the doctor once she arrived at the hospital. As happy parents do, they contaced the family and friends to let everyone know that their new pride and joy would be on her way. Our joy quickly turned to sorrow. Immediately, upon being connected to the fetal monitors, the nurse informed Francis and Alexander that there was no heartbeat. Our baby girl was gone. At about 11:15 pm, they performed a c-section. Francis and Alexander had a few moments in recovery before they allowed all of the family to share special moments with Vanessa Rose for the first and last time. We were told by one of the nurses that with her experience, she believed that Vanessa Rose was atleaset 42 weeks and with the high risk that Francis was, because of her diebetes, due to her pregnancy, the doctor should have delivered Vanessa Rose at 38 to 39 weeks unless there were more severe complications, and therefore, should have been delivered even earlier than that. After the delivery of Vanessa Rose, they were informed that she had passed atleast two days prior to the delivery and therefore, she had started to decay in the womb. We feel this all could have been avoided if the doctor would have delivered Vanessa Rose either Tuesday when he noticed that she was already positioned in the birth canal and knowing her diabetic situation or even earlier than that. We believe that our precious angel is gone forever due to the neglagence of the doctor. Both because the possibility of an incorrect due date and becasue of postponing the delivery so that the doctor could finish his vacation. We are in desperate need of your financial help. This was an unespected loss and therefore we do not have the funds to give our angel a proper burial. With your generosity, we are hoping to give our Vanessa Rose the burial that she deserves. We are hoping to have everthing finalized by the end of this week (Friday, 4/29/2016). We will be deaply grateful from the bottom of our hearts for any contribution that you are able to provide. Thank you from Vanessa Rose's Family.
