Help Me with my medical bills

Hello, I'm Jarryl, and I'm fundraising because something happened that I've worked on not happening my entire adulthood off of my mom's insurance, I ended up in the hospital.

I've been living in Las Vegas since February 2021, after 9 years of living in Long Beach with my family & working as a tour guide for 2 years & before then, I worked at Universal Studios for 3 years. I choose to move to Vegas (after my mom moved to Japan) simply because it's more affordable than Los Angeles County & most of the state of California, and I wanted to stay on the west coast & work my way back to California. Since Covid killed my job as a tour guide in Hollywood, I was on California Unemployment since March 2020, and it's been a rocky unstable battle all the way until it ended in early September. In that time I've tried my hand at being my own boss with writing, production, & collaborative efforts, & I've joined a few great teams, it's ended up being 1 of the most productive & creative years of my life, but when unemployment ended it was time to get back on the job hunt & get back to a stable and dependable paycheck. It hasn't been an easy journey to find a job, everyone's hiring, but everyone's not hiring everybody, but I did end up getting a job as security at 1 of my favorite bars in my neighborhood. Everyone who works there has been fantastic, the patrons have been cool, and it's a 35-minute walk from home.

Last Monday after my 1st 4 days on the job I felt fine, but I noticed that day that I couldn't sleep longer than 2hrs at a time, I thought that was just my body adjusting to actively working from 10 pm-6 am & Midnight -8 am. Tuesday I noticed my throat felt different, I've had sinuses all my life & I'm very in touch with when those symptoms start, and this wasn't it, I thought it was maybe a cold or the flu, by Thursday I was definitely sick from something & I had no idea what, but it was scaring my & again I could not get rest. At 7 am Friday feeling like my throat was only half-opened, I struggled to breathe, and I felt physically very hot & uncomfortable all over, I thought it was a breakthrough covid case since I'm fully vaccinated, I didn't know what to do but what I knew was this was serious, I couldn't breathe, so I called 911, and they sent an ambulance to get me right away. In the ambulance when they connected the oxygen machine I felt like I was coming back to life.

They ran a bunch of tests & took exrays & I found out I didn't have Covid, I have Pneumonia (specifically Hypoxia & Severe Sepsis). It resulted in a 4-night stay in the hospital, without insurance. And recovering has so far caused me to miss 2 weekends of work, and as of right now I'm not sure when I'll be able to go back at full capacity. I've been off of needing the oxygen machine full time since Sunday the 10th, and I've been out of the hospital since Tuesday the 12th, and I've been getting better & feeling my health slowly improved, I have breathing exercises to help with my lungs, and I've been walking minimal 2 miles a day for the last 4 years, and I'm in a weird position now where I want to walk, my legs are able, but my breathing can't handle that much physical work right now, so I find myself getting winded, drained of energy & coughing attacks just getting to the mailbox of my apartment complex, something that use to take 3 minutes.

On my last trip to the mailbox is where I found I have the ambulance bill, and I don't know what I originally thought it might be, but it was probably a thousand dollars more than I would've expected. I never thought I'd get to the point where I'd need this kind of public help funding, but when it comes to health, it's beyond me & it's beyond a few hundred dollars. I need help with these bills, with rent, with groceries, & medicine. Any amount you can donate I would more than appreciate, I know when I'm back to my full mobility it's gonna be a whole other way of life, I'm gonna come at it from a completely different angle, I have scripts to write, characters to play, opinions & experiences to share & learn, & alot more life to live.
