Help Holywell School buy laptops for pupils
Donation protected
Holywell Primary School is a thatched school in the picturesque village of Tawstock near Barnstaple in North Devon.
Holywell is a school with history, named after the holy well which used to supply water to the school. It serves 174 pupils from mostly modest backgrounds, the majority of which have learning disabilities and require additional needs.
The head teacher is a fantastic lady called Susan Denham.
She is passionate about giving the best possible educational environment to her pupils against the backdrop of an extremely challenging financial outlook for the school.
The school has very poor broadband and Chief Engineer is in the process of getting FTTP to the hamlet. On one of our visits to the school, we were shocked to learn that it only has 2 laptops, which are shared between the 174 Pupils.
We are therefore trying to raise £5000 so Susan can purchase some laptops for the children. We're hoping to reach our target by the end of February.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enrich the lives of children through the gift of technology and we hope you can give generously.
Many thanks
