Funeral Expenses for Sierra

On May 15, 2016, Sierra Von Der Heide, age 18 was last seen with her boyfriend James Cole, also age 18. After our community rallied the past several weeks to help locate these two missing teens, sadly, both were discovered June 14, 2016, not far from where they were last sighted. Apparent victims of a motorcycle accident.
On June 9, Sierra would have (and should have) celebrated her 19th birthday and we as a community are grieving with her family and friends.
As with many accidental deaths, especially when one is a young person, families are often not financially able to cover the costs associated with funeral expenses. This is where you can help:
Sierra's father, William, has allowed me to set up this resource so that others that are able to help the Von Der Heide family with these costs may do so.
The only fees that will be taken from this account are those associated with the Gofundme fee policy. I wish I could do more. I wish I did not have to make this account. I feel it is the least I can do to try and help Sierra's family find some comfort and peace through the pain and sorrow that will wash over them in the next days and weeks and months and years to come.
The loss of a child is an unbearable one, so I am told. One that I can only imagine. And pray I never have to. We weep with you, we grieve with you. And hopefully with this small act, we can help William and family give Sierra a proper burial that she will look down upon and smile.
