Rodriguez Family COVID Hospital Relief

On 11/13/20, two weeks after being diagnosed with COVID-19, my dad had to be hospitalized as he was having trouble breathing and had low oxygenation. His lungs were deteriorating at Baylor in Irving and on 11/27/2020 he had to be intubated and transported to Baylor Hearts ICU center in Plano. My dad is currently depending on the ventilator and the ECMO machine while his lungs recover. As of today, Jan 24th, 2021, my dad is on day 74 of fighting for his life, and the medical bills continue to grow. 

Update: Unfortunately, today 1/25/2021, my wonderful dad has passed away. The doctors informed us this morning that they made the final decision to disconnect him today as there was nothing more they could do for my dad. 

No amount of planning could’ve  prepare my family to deal with something like this.  Any amount you feel moved to donate will help pay for the hospital bills and funerary services.
