Our beloved Rockwell needs your help. He’s been our happy, strong, goofy, friendly and loving boy for almost 6 years and he’s loved by so many. You all feel like family to us.
In March, Rockwell had surgery for Aspergillosis (a fungus) that had attacked his sinuses. The surgery was invasive, but he is strong and did well.
In December, the fungus came back more severe than before. We had to take action. He had surgery again - this time a more aggressive surgery. He was scheduled to have a follow up surgery at the end of January.
Two weeks later, he began bleeding as a complication of the fungus attacking his tissues and had to be rushed to the Emergency Room. The fungus was still attacking him. We did an emergency surgery taking the most aggressive approach possible to kill the fungus. We removed all of the fungus and treated him with anti-fungal medicine again.
24 hours after coming home, he began bleeding again. He had to be rushed back to the Emergency Room. His blood levels had dropped so low that he needed a blood transfusion. Last night he had another bleeding incident. He stayed strong, but we need your help now.
He needs another surgery to help stop the bleeding so he can heal. We have exhausted our pet insurance resources and we need your help now to save Rockwell’s life. Any support you can give will help save him.
