Ecuador was struck by one of the strongest earthquakes in decades on Saturday, April 16th 2016 and is continued to be hit by 44 large and small earthquakes over the course of one week. Four hundred and thirty three lives have been lost, and thousands have been injured. Towns and cities have been completely destroyed, and a nation is paralyzed by grief and tragedy.

Humphrey International Student Association (HISA) is hosting a fund raising event and collaborating with the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador to support building a temporal shelter which costs $1,700 each . These temporal shelters can provide a home for a family of 5 up to 3-5 years! We hope to raise enough funds to support two temporal shelters. Thanks for your support!
