I recently made fun of these Go Fund Me pages on Scott's Facebook and little did I know that I would need to actually set one up to help Scott and Sharon.

On Sunday 6/8 Scott brought Sharon to the ER as she was not acting herself and not feeling well. Little did anyone know that Sharon was diagnosed as having a brain tumor in her frontal lobe. Sharon was admitted into the Theda Hospital in Neenah that night and surgery was scheduled a few days later to remove the tumor.

According to Scott the doctor diagnosed the tumor as malignant and they are testing to see if is cancerous. Sharon returned home from the hospital this last Saturday, but still has a long road to recovery. Due to this unexpected circumstance Sharon is unable to return to work indefinitely.

She currently requires around the clock care as she has to relearn a lot of things that we take for granted. Scott has been by Sharon's side throughout this whole time and I would like to take this opportunity to help them in every way possible. Scott and Sharon will have some unexpected expenses throughout this road to recovery to cover the costs that insurance doesn't pick up. She requires in home nursing care and a number of trips back and forth to the hospital for appointments.

If you are looking for a way to help out Scott and Sharon during this time I am trying to fundraise to assist them with the cost associated with having to be off work and cover the deductibles and other medical expenses that aren't covered by insurance.

If you are not comfortable with using this method of donation I'm sure Scott and Sharon will gladly accept gas cards, meals (I know.. not Scott right?), visits, phone calls, letters and prayers!
