My name is Heather and Charlie is my Dad. He is my hero and the best example of a human being that I know. Charlie needs help getting surgery on his eye. He has a pretty serious cataract in one eye that has caused him to lose sight in it. The surgery is quick and incredibly effective but it costs $1,600...upfront. His insurance has a very high deductible and he would have to pay for the entire thing out-of-pocket. As a janitor at a school, he won't ever be able to save up enough money to pay for the surgery on his own. He lives several states away from family and can't visit because of his eyesight. I know there are a lot of awesome people out there who are willing and able to help a fantastic person regain his sight. A little from everyone will get this fixed. Please help in any way you can.
