As most of you know, Lexi (my bestest friend) has had type 1 diabetes her entire life. Recently within the last 5 months, lexi has had mutiple strokes and a heart attack resulting in her losing her eyesight in both eyes. on top of adjusting to not being able to see: lexi also has high blood pressure and she is on dialysis 3 times a week for her kidneys. recently lexi was diagnoised with blood clots in her lungs. there are a slew of other medical issues lexi is dealing with, but those are the main ones.

She is constantly in and out of the hospital, sometimes for weeks or months at a time. The last stay just recently, we almost lost Lexi.

Lexi is on nicks insurance, but with them constantly changing her meds, they are having to come out of pocket alot. Nick is working sometimes sun up to sun down to provide for himself, lexi and their 5 yr old daughteradrianna. when nick gets off work, he comes home and cooks and cleans. bathes lexi and adrianna, does the laundry and sets out everything for the next morning. if he even misses one day of work, it will put them behind and that much more of a struggle. were hoping to help raise money so that during this difficult time, lexi and nick can have a little reprieve. also, hed be able to miss some work just in case she has to go back to the hospital. we know this is a trying time, lexi and nick appreciate everything that is being done and all the thoughts and prayers. if youd like to donate, thank you. if you just want to send prayers, thank you.
