Help 11 boys reach their field of dreams by playing in a Cooperstown baseball tournament.
The Cooperstown tournament involves two games a day for three days straight, an additional playoffs day, and a championship games day (plus a day of warm-ups and individual competitions). The boys all stay in barracks on the Cooperstown compound. They will compete against teams from all over the United States, right in the mythic birthplace of baseball.
This Cooperstown trip is an exciting yet costly endeavor. The players’ families have all contributed much to get this team up and running. But the total costs amount to much more than our fundraising effort here.
Any contributions will help to ease the burden on the families and keep the enterprise moving to its destination. The funds will cover professional coaches, field rentals (for practices), equipment costs, accommodations for the team, team pins (trading pins with other teams from around the country is part of the thrill and camaraderie) and other miscellaneous costs.
We jump-started this team only a little over a month ago and Cooperstown is less than two months away. Help these boys play in baseball heaven!
Anything you can do to help these kids build memories that will last a lifetime is greatly appreciated.
