Prayers for Pasos
My name is Vanessa Baldiviez, I am the girlfriend of John Pasos. On June 12, 2016 at 9:19 pm John was shot. The bullet went through his shoulder into his C4, C5, and C6 vertebrae of his neck. His spine in critically injured and has caused possibly permanent damage to his body. Right now his has no leg function and minimal movement in the arms. They are going to remove the bullet in hopes to relieve pressure of the spine. John's vitals, reaction to commands, brain and heart are 100%. He has been life flighting in a helicopter from Yuma, AZ to Phoenix because that hospital does not have a neuro surgeon. They then proceeded with CAT-Scan and multiple other test before proceeding with surgery. Unfortunately, this type of servere case is very expensive and we are looking for any donations to go towards his medical bill. Anything will be appreciated.
Letter to John:
"June 13, 2016 at about 12:21 pm your going under forback surgery. You are in great hands and you have an amazing team working on your injuries.
Just know you’re a strong, hard headed,Mexican that I love and hate so much. I would never wish this upon anyone. You are a hard worker, sometimes sweet and loving boyfriend, your daughter’s look up to you in so many ways that you may never know. I pray from this day forward you finally realize the importance of family and spending quality time with your family. So many people love you and cherish your soul. Moving forward we need to be a team and work hard to get your strength back to normal. I am going to be by your side everyday no matter what. I will lift you up and motivate you to recovery. We will not let this defeat us. You have such a young life to live and experience with your daughters. Change for them and change for yourself.
I prayed today in Gods hand that he does everything in his power to give me John back. You have to believe in yourself and know your going to get better and come back stronger.
