Johnny’s medical expenses and what is to come

This fundraiser has been set up for my brother in law, Johnnie first got sick and hospitalized June 19, 1995. He spent 2 and a half months in the hospital. They found a 19 cm Benign Giant cell tumor that comprised his lower lumbar and sacrum. It created a Nickel sized hole on the left side of his sacrum. During this time he had his first surgery to create a colostomy and then 6weeks of radiation. The next summer he had his second surgery to create a bladder on top of the tumor. His bladder and lower bowel were crushed by the tumor. We had several healthy years and in 2004 he lost his left kidney. The next 4 surgeries were to correct complications due to a mesh that perforated his bladder and was leaking causing sepsis. We have had 9 healthy years. Social security would not cover him because he could hold a job, but it didn’t provide insurance either with that being said we are in need of help to help to cover his recent hospitalization bills and upcoming surgery to remove a large stone blocking his urinary track.. He was hospitalized last week for excruciating pain in his abdomen and a possible blockage. After a couple days in the hospital they found he has a blood infection and then soon after tested positive for COVID he is home now the doctors thought it would be a good idea to recover at home while waiting for surgery in the beginning of February.
