This fundraiser has been created to help support dear friend and fellow snowsports instructor, Daniel Burnell.
I’ve known Dan for more than 15 years during which time I’ve experienced the “Dan-O” affect continuously and wholeheartedly.
What is the “Dan-O” affect? It’s the feeling you have when you know someone else is there looking out for you. It’s that secure feeling you have when—without question— you know Dan has your back. He’ll put himself second and you first.
A gentlemen who has always been there for us, now needs our help. As most of you know, due to the horrific effects of an undiagnosed diabetic condition, Dan underwent the sudden and unexpected amputation of his right leg below the knee. This tragic news has rocked our community of friends and outdoor enthusiasts.
Throughout this difficult time please help Dan get back on the slopes, help him ride his motorcycle, care for his Mother, help him to cheer again during that Sunday afternoon football game. Medical, rehabilitation and life bills, like returning to his hometown in New Hampshire, are going to start rolling in. Let’s get a head start on helping Dan and his family.
