Jai Guru Dev, dearest friends,

Some of you might already know me from my appearance in the “A Taste of Utopia” film, but for those who don’t, I’ll briefly introduce myself.

My name is Lorenzo Chiesa. I’m a Sidha living in Rome, Italy. In the last several years I have dedicated myself profoundly to Maharishi’s knowledge, practicing it—doing long programs; studying it—participating in numerous courses; and spreading it as widely as possible. Especially in the last 12 months, I have gathered a significant audience in Italy through my work, which consists in republishing the writings of my late father, the respected journalist Giulietto Chiesa. Thanks to my social media platforms, interviews on national television and radio, and live conferences, dozens of people have already learned TM in Italy. I recently started to feel that nature is sending me signs that I have to attend TTC as soon as possible. And this is what brought me here today.

From the first day I learned TM, I have felt an unwavering desire to become an instructor of this supreme knowledge, yet just now the right moment and circumstances have evolved and made it possible for me to attend TTC this year. Today, that desire is stronger than ever. Unfortunately, because of an ongoing legal battle that was started by my father before he passed—whose repercussions now fall on me—my main bank account has been seized by the Italian authorities, and I still don’t know how long it will be before they release the funds. Nonetheless, with great hope, I have decided to apply to the TTC this year.

This is why I'm asking for your blessings and support. Every amount you can donate will bring me one step closer to my goal. I firmly believe I can be a valuable asset to my large community and a highly successful lighthouse.

Alcuni di voi potrebbero già conoscermi per la mia apparizione nel film A Taste of Utopia, ma per chi non mi conosce mi presento brevemente.

Mi chiamo Lorenzo Chiesa. Sono un Sidha e vivo a Roma, in Italia. Negli ultimi anni mi sono dedicato profondamente alla conoscenza di Maharishi, praticandola – facendo lunghi programmi, studiandola –partecipando a numerosi corsi e diffondendola il più possibile. In particolare negli ultimi 12 mesi ho raccolto un seguito significativo in Italia grazie al mio lavoro di ripubblicazione degli scritti di mio padre, il compianto giornalista Giulietto Chiesa. Attraverso i miei canali social, interviste su televisioni e radio nazionali e conferenze dal vivo, decine di persone hanno già imparato la MT in Italia. Recentemente ho iniziato a sentire che la natura mi sta inviando segnali affiché io partecipi al TTC il prima possibile. Ed è proprio questo che mi porta qui oggi.

Dal primo giorno in cui ho imparato la MT ho sentito un desiderio incrollabile di diventare insegnante di questa conoscenza suprema, ma solo ora il momento e le circostanze giuste si sono allineate rendendo possibile per me frequentare il TTC quest’anno. Oggi quel desiderio è più forte che mai. Purtroppo, però, a causa di una causa legale avviata da mio padre prima che venisse a mancare, le cui ripercussioni ricadono ora su di me, il mio conto bancario principale è stato congelato dalle autorità italiane e non so ancora quando i fondi verranno sbloccati. Nonostante ciò, con grande fiducia ho deciso di iscrivermi al TTC quest’anno.

Per questo chiedo le vostre benedizioni e il vostro sostegno. Qualsiasi importo possiate donare mi avvicinerà di un passo al mio obiettivo. Credo fermamente di poter essere una risorsa preziosa per la mia comunità e un faro capace di guidare molte persone.
