God called dad to be with Him last night, 1/21. We received a call yesterday morning that dad’s vitals were getting worse and the medical staff were having a difficult time keeping him stable. They granted a special visitation where all four of us can visit dad. We drove up to see dad and got to spend time with him (individually and collectively). Dad’s desire for this year was to gather more often to have family worship and bible studies. I’m thankful that we were able to read scriptures, worship, and pray with dad one last time.  Philippians 4:7-11 was one of the Bible passage that impacted dad. He didn’t chase after the things of the world but lived his life to serve God. We know dad’s no longer suffering and is now in the presence of God. We know this isn’t goodbye and that we’ll all see each other in heaven. And because of that, we find peace in the midst of this heartbreak. We’re able to continue to praise God and run towards Him for healing and strength, not away from Him.  Thank you for your prayers. It gave us the strength to get through yesterday. Please continue to pray for us as we grieve and figure out our lives without dad.
