My father , Raul Velasco Cuevas age 57, was a selfless, full of life, compassionate and kind person, loved by many. He was loving,caring, and full of happiness. Our family is in great mourning over his sudden passing. He was always a family man and kept in touch with all his family. We all will always cherish the memories we have of him and know he is smiling down on us from heaven. An angel has gained his wings and we are truly grateful to have had him as much time as we did. I miss him so much already and I wish I could just hug him one more time. When he hugged you , you knew everything was going to be okay no matter what. He was trustworthy and always took care of us. Words can not explain how much we all truly loved him and are missing him dearly.

My dad became ill with Covid-19 right before Christmas. He had been home with many symptoms and developed pneumonia. He was rushed to the hospital because he could not breath and his condition was getting worse. He spent about 2 weeks in the ICU. His condition grew worse as his kidneys started to fail and his potassium levels were 3 times the normal limit. His heart failed him, he fought strong but unfortunately, he passed away on January 14, 2021.

My self, his daughter, Amairani, son , Raul Jr, and wife, Yolanda Velasco and family are raising money to hold funeral services for my dad in honor of his memory. He deserves the best, any donation or any kind of help is appreciated. Thank you.

Mi padre, Raúl Velasco Cuevas 57, era una persona desinteresada, llena de vida, compasiva y amable, amada por muchos. Nuestra familia está de luto por su repentino fallecimiento. Siempre fue un hombre de familia y se mantuvo en contacto con toda su familia. Todos apreciaremos siempre los recuerdos que tenemos de él y sabremos que nos está sonriendo desde el cielo. Un ángel ha ganado sus alas y estamos realmente agradecidos de haberlo tenido tanto tiempo como nosotros. Yo, nosotros, ya lo extrañamos mucho y desearía poder abrazarlo una vez más. Las palabras no pueden explicar cuánto lo amamos de verdad y lo extrañándolo mucho.

Mi papá se enfermó de Covid-19 justo antes de Navidad. Había estado en casa con muchos síntomas y desarrolló neumonía. Lo llevaron de urgencia al hospital porque no podía respirar y su estado empeoraba. Pasó unas 2 semanas en la UCI. Su condición empeoró a medida que sus riñones empezaron a fallar y sus niveles de potasio eran 3 veces superiores al límite normal. Su corazón le falló, luchó fuerte pero lamentablemente falleció el 14 de enero de 2021.

Yo, su hija Amairani, mi hijo Raúl Jr y su esposa Yolanda Velasco y mi familia estamos recaudando dinero para realizar los servicios funerarios de mi papá en honor a su memoria. Se merece lo mejor, se agradece cualquier donación o cualquier tipo de ayuda. Gracias
