I'm Teddy Havener

This is my garage door

This is a hole in my garage door.
That's my cat looking through that hole.
This hole was made accidentally by a hockey puck...
...with my SLAPSHOT!
My dad wasn't happy when he came home and saw that hole.
But then, strangely, he sort of smiled.
I made that hole in my garage door...um accidentally...with a hockey puck...with my slapshot.
My name is Teddy Havener. I'm 16 years old, I live in Lake Stevens, Washington. I've played hockey for nearly a decade.
Hockey is my passion... it has always been my passion.I have worked very hard especially over the last three years to put myself in a place where I can succeed in my dream of playing hockey in college.
This year I've taken a major step in that direction. I have been offered a roster spot on the Pikes Peak Miners of the North American Prospects Hockey League [NAPHL] which, as the name suggests is one of the top leagues for "Prospects" [prospective college and pro players] in North America. http://www.pikespeakminers.com

The Miners play in tournaments that are highly scouted by colleges and professionals throughout the year. Many of my team's games will be "streamed on the internet live" giving me even more exposure to scouts.
In order to follow this dream I'm going to school in Colorado Springs, Colorado and live there with live with a local family. My parents will pay them for my living expenses.
Hockey is an expensive sport and the money raised will cover team's fees which include all the actual necessary expenses, [uniforms, ice rink fees, league fees, air travel, bus travel, hotels, meals]
I will be most grateful to you for any contribution you can make towards helping get to my goal. I am leaving for Colorado at the end of July and your contirbution will make this all possible.
If you like, you can follow me and the Miners during the season on the internet for a nominal fee at: http://nahl.fasthockey.com/login.php
Thank You so much for your consideration and your support! I am most grateful! Please share with your friends if you are so led.
