Mission Trip To Africa!

Donation protected
Hey Ya'll!
For years I have wanted to go on a short-term mission trip to Africa to help underprivileged kids and it is finally going to be able to happen! I truly believe this is my calling! I will be going with an organization called, Empower a Child. With this awesome non-profit, I will be visiting Africa for two weeks next summer and will be working with children and families living in extreme poverty, specifically in Uganda and Kenya. While I am in Kenya, I will be focusing on vulnerable, underprivileged children and youth in the slums of Nairobi. I will be working in the orphanages teaching, playing and feeding the children. I will also be re-building communities and empowering today's youth. When volunteering at the Babies’ Homes, we will assist with any of the chores that need to be done such as; chopping firewood, sorting beans, doing laundry, mopping, assisting in classrooms, feeding babies, and playing with the children and showing them love. The children at these homes were either abandoned or orphaned and are anywhere from a few days to five years old. In Uganda, I will also be helping children in Kampala as well as community development and spiritual discipleship in the partner village, Zirobwe! There, I will be involved in leading worship, reading Bible stories, playing games, and making crafts with the people of Uganda! Words cannot describe how excited I am for this wonderful opportunity! Not only would I be putting my education degree to use but I would be helping kids of all ages build their relationship and become closer to the Lord. Any donation that you can offer to help me carry out my dream would be extremely helpful, whether it is $10, $20, or $100. Thank you so much in advance for your donations and prayers! Please continue to pray for me and the others that are involved in this great organization as we travel to Africa to spread the good news of the Lord! Thank you, Marty Pope : )
