Hi, I'm Bobbi Warren and I need your help.
My friend and business partner, George Balut, has been very ill for the last year with severe complications from Diabetes and debilitating spinal pain. George is self-employed and because of his health, his ability to work has been severly curtailed, therefore, his medical bills have been piling up. Last month, his wife, Diane, facing her own health challenges, lost her job of 42 years. Neither are old enough for social security retirement benefits and have applied for disability. That process could take 6 months or longer. Meanwhile, because of NO income coming in, their mortgage and his medical bills can't be covered.
That is why I decided to do this...they need help to cover those expenses now...It breaks my heart to see this happening to someone I think of as my brother. I am almost 3,000 miles away from them and can't do much to help. All I could think of to do to help raise funds was to put on a workshop in their town in August (2016) which will raise some money but not enough.

Over his nearly 40-year involvement with reflexology George, with his vast knowledge, has taught thousands of students and touched many lives through his healing touch. He has channeled his passion for the professional development of reflexology through his work with the American Reflexology Certification Board Reflexology (ARCB), the Association of Ohio, the International Council of Reflexologists, and the Reflexology Association of America. He not only supports these organizations through paying dues, but has spent untold volunteer hours serving as a director or officer and consulting by working quietly in the background. He is past president of ARCB and a founding Director.
As many of you know, George, with his warm heart believes in paying it forward. He does things without asking for anything in return. Now it’s our turn to help him by letting him know that friends, family and those of us in the Reflexology community are thinking of him and Diane and holding them in our prayers.
This site is amazing...I had heard of GoFundMe but never thought I would ever be using it.
I have set the intention that we raise $10,000 (you know how quickly THAT could be eaten up by medical bills!) so I know that you, with your loving hearts will see your way to helping them out by donating whatever you can.
Tears are running down my cheeks as I write this. I have never just asked for money before and it is very humbling....but I don't personally know of 2 people who deserve our help more at this moment...thank you...
