Early Saturday morning, the worst possible event happened to the Garza family. Their youngest son, Diego lost his life in a car accident. This news has no doubt turned the family upside down.

Diego was just beginning his life, at almost 19 years old. He earned a scholarship at Gonzaga to continue his studies after graduating with his AA out of high school. He had recently decided to stay an extra quarter to complete his degree with a double major. Diego had so much drive to find success and that was obvious.

Additionally, please allow the Garza family to grieve. They will have to figure out how to navigate this next chapter without Diego here physically but he will always be with them.

Any money raised from this will go to the family to help with any missing wages, any funeral costs and any transportation costs. I am in direct communication with Brooke Beaty, Diego’s mom. For those who don’t know, Brooke is my stepsister. Brooke will have direct access to all of these funds and I will not be in charge of dispersing any of them.
