Hey everyone! I’m incredibly, incredibly embarrassed to be making one of these, as I’ve always been incredibly stubborn about making my own way in life since I was little. But as my total hip replacement is coming up on March 31st, people have encouraged me to make one to cover the bills and expenses I’ll have while I’m out recovering. I’ve been trying to save up for my time off, but life and stress got in the way and I haven’t been able to.

As many of you know, I was born with hip dysplasia in my right hip, and I had multiple surgeries from ages 3-12 to ease my pain and stabilize my leg until I was fully grown and my body was able to support a hip replacement. That time has come, and I’m not being dramatic when I say that this condition has affected every aspect of my life—from sports, to my lifestyle choices, to relationships, work, and so on. I’ve had to call out of work from pain dozens of times in the past couple of years, which is something I hate to do.

In the past two weeks alone, I’ve had to temporarily leave both my jobs, and I’m not able to move around much because of the severe pain in both my hips. Walking and going up the stairs is a huge struggle for me. I’m staying with my grandparents during recovery, so thankfully I won’t have rent to pay, but I do have other expenses. I’m starting a GoFundMe to try and raise some money for me to make sure my pets are taken care of, my other bills are paid, and so I can have access to purchasing hygiene, medication, or other necessary products I’ll need. I’ll be using any extra to help with a security deposit and rent when I move out and get back on my feet. Thank you in advance to my community for being wonderful! ❤️❤️
