28-year-old Liberian student fighting for his life in India.

Hello, I am the sister of Dekergai Tonnonlah, a 28-year-old Liberian student who went to India to pursue his studies.

On August 30, 2025, the day he was supposed to finally return to Liberia and see his family after two years apart, tragedy struck. That morning, he fell into a severe sugar coma with his blood sugar reaching 740. He began vomiting blood and other substances until a friend found him unconscious, not breathing or talking, but still with a faint pulse.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he is still fighting for his life. Instead of being reunited with his loved ones, he is now battling for survival in a foreign country—alone.

His entire family is in Liberia, and he have no relatives in India to stand by him during this difficult time. The hospital bills are quickly piling up, and the costs are more than his family can manage.

We am humbly asking for your help to:
    1.    Cover urgent hospital and medical expenses.
    2.    Support travel costs for one family member from Liberia to India so he can have someone by his side.

This has been the hardest moment of his life. Any donation, big or small, will help ease the burden and bring him closer to healing. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping him in your prayers.

Thank you for your kindness, support, and compassion.

With gratitude,
Alexis Martha Payne
