On June 10th, 2016 my sister Donica Smith passed away at the age of 31 after a year battle of Metastasis Malignant Phyllodes Sarcoma Cancer, which is a very rare form of Cancer that spread throughout her body. With rounds of chemo therapy & radiation the cancer overpowered her body. Donica Smith was a loving & caring person who served relentlessly throughout her community as a Care Taker helping to care for children & youth as well as those with mental & physical disabilities. Donica loved to spread joy and laughter with whomever she came in contact with. She enjoyed life to the fullest, even after being diagnosed with Cancer, she was determined to fight back with everything within her & was not willing to give up. As Donica battled this deadly desease she kept her faith in God. With much moral support and family & friends along side her, she kept fighting with an optimistic attitude.
Although Cancer has taken my sisters life at such a young age, her will of wanting to live soared & echoed throughout the community. She's gone too soon, but not forgotten .
Please help my family and I give Donica Smith a special home going funeral service & burial for the special person she was.
