Rebuilding from Anderson Creek Fire
A few weeks ago my childhood home burned to the ground in the midst of the worst wildfire in Kansas history. Four generations of Bells lived in the farmhouse, and it meant so much to my family and so many others. I am heartbroken that it is gone, but I will always be thankful for the memories we shared there, and most importantly for the people who lived there. I know the house my parents planned to retire in is gone now but we would like to take all these proceeds and give it to our mother this upcoming Mother’s Day. Maybe we will be able to raise enough for mom and dad to build their dream house; but whatever the case, however much the amount, they will be grateful! It is a small way but we want to show our appreciation to our parents for being such a great mom and dad and raising us six Bell kids in the Big Blue Farmhouse.
