Our beloved Big Boy at Paradise Valley Farm had to be rushed to West Coast Equine hospital Monday at 12:00am when showing signs of colic, and was diagnosed with a large colon obstruction. He was put on medications and IV fluids, and is now thankfully recovering. Big Boy is Paradise Valley Farms gentle giant, he has brought so much joy and love to so many! Rescued by Annette Osterlund from horrible conditions and abuse, he went onto become a Grand Prix jumper, a wondrous success especially with all the trials he had gone through before. Big Boy is the most gentle and loving giant with the biggest heart. We are all so grateful that he is on the road to recovery! Anything helps and is greatly appreciated to help cover his medical expenses.
