Keep John from being homeless

I’m trying to raise one month’s rent and expenses for me and my dog to not be homeless. I lost a whole week’s pay due to the hurricane and another two weeks pay so far from being out with broken ribs. Before that I put my trust in an LGBT agency where i worked with them for almost two months to get assistance with rent etc only to be told by them that there were no funds. I’m tired of living week to week in fear of ending up on the street which ultimately would mean giving up my dog who has been with me for twelve years.

These funds would put me ahead enough to where I could be free of the constant stress of how to pay my bills. I’m not used to being the one who has to ask for help like this and for many years I was someone people went to for help. I worked within my community to raise tens of thousands of dollars for LGBTQ youth and other not for profit organizations.

I don’t want to be homeless and I don’t want to be forced to surrender my dog to a shelter where she would probably put not be adoptable because of her age. Rainbow is my life and the reason I get up in the morning and why I come home at night. I’m not sure what else to do so here I am asking you to consider donating to help me. Thank you.
