Carolina Gonzalez Funeral

On Friday, January 8th 2021, my mom, Carolina Diaz Gonzalez, passed away in the hospital. She was battling pneumonia as a direct result of COVID-19. She spent Christmas and New Years in the hospital, unable to communicate or be with her family the entire time, and as much as she fought, she was unable to overcome the struggle. We last saw our mom alive December 13th. The holidays will forever be tainted in our hearts. My mom raised my sister, Mia, 13, and me (Vivian), 20, with a warm and caring heart. She always put her girls before her and she did so with such grace. Without her here, Mia and I are in need of your support during this time of grieving. The loss of my mom now creates a huge financial burden as she provided so much to the household. We hope that with your generosity, we can receive immediate help to keep my sister and me in our current home, and it will help with our upcoming struggles with funeral expenses, daily living expenses, utilities, and rent. We are devastated at the loss of our beloved mom. The wonders of Christmas and New Years will never be the same. We are blessed to have grandparents and other family that love us and provide care, but in the midst of a pandemic, even family has only so much they can provide.
