Thursday evening, Jason was the victim of a senseless crime. He was shot in an attempted robbery and will have a long road to recovery. The hospital was unable to remove the bullet from his neck at the time, so he will have many follow up appointments, and will possibly undergo surgery.
One of the men involved had already been apprehended. Jason is in contact with detectives on the case and has agreed to testify against him, which means travel to and from Kentucky will be necessary.
Jason is a family man, who's income is depended on to provide for his wife and 9 month old son. The family will be facing very hard times and uncertainty.
All proceeds raised go to the family to assist in day to day costs lost from Jason being out of work, medical bills, travel, etc.
