Intelligent Bisexual Woman by Reagan Allen!

Catholic guilt. Gay panic. Southern charm. In March of 2023, my first solo stand-up show– Intelligent Bisexual Woman– debuted at the PIT’s SoloCom festival. Thanks to executive producer Ali Farahnakian and producer Sean Christian-Taylor, I now perform a new iteration of that show every single month at the PIT, on a two-person bill with the fabulously talented Seann Cantatore. The truth is, despite having the support of a world-class venue, wonderful producers, and my incredible music director Theo Rogers, putting on a show like this is expensive. Paying for photography, videography, promotional materials, substitute musicians, and more is something I can only accomplish with your help. Thanks to your contributions thus far, I have been able to power this project in New York– but I would like to continue doing so into 2024 and beyond. AND, as many of you know, I have a deep desire to bring the show to other cities, other festivals, and hopefully soon, to the Edinburgh Fringe.

My primary financial goal as of September 2023 is to raise enough money to hire photographers and videographers who have the skillset and vision to effectively capture the story I’m telling through this show. Strong visual materials are essential for me to communicate the essence of this project to companies and individuals who can support me in sharing this work with a much wider audience.
