Capital2Capital - Walk 4 Cancer

Talked about this for so long and it’s about time I put it up. Ever since my Dad went into remission Ive told myself I’ll do as big of a fundraiser as I can. I kept putting this off (Lazy Excuses) so I’m holding myself accountable now with this page and post! On 30th April - 2nd May I’m going to be completing a 100Mile Walk 4 Cancer! Mater Hospital Dublin ➡️ City Hospital Belfast (Captial2Capital) There are loads of charities that help so many families so it was tough to choose but I decided my two charities would be ‘Macmillan Cancer Support’ & ‘Charis Cancer Care’. Two amazing charities! Both were so supportive to my family and helped support us through such difficult times! They do unbelievable things for so many families in Ireland and the UK. The plan is to hopefully raise some funds and donate gifts/money to Laurel House Antrim (Macmillan Ward) and Charis Cancer Care in Lissan. I started my training last week and have been walking the roads like a mad man, I will be posting photos and updates on this page and Insta. Hopefully I don’t wreck my knees in the process of this The aim is before the walk to hit over 1-MILLION steps I’ll be getting a few jerseys made up and then running a couple fundraisers in the coming months for a bit of craic around home within the guidelines to help collect some money for both charities. If anyone has any ideas for fundraisers or wants to sponsor or help with the walk in anyway please throw me a text any wee bit of support will go a long way!
