Chaz here, I'd like to say thank you to all family and friends that have continued to pray everyday with me while Chaz Jr has been in ICU. He was admitted on Jan 2, 2017 with a ruptured appendix and we are still here.  We're finally making progress, little by little, after multiple complications to include a complete blockage of one lung and partial blockage of the other due to severe pneumonia, which led to respiratory failure and being placed on a ventilator.  The infection also caused kidney failure, and the need for multiple surgeries. Surgical complications led to sepsis and several blood transfusions. He also began the onset of kidney failure amongst other things. Needless to say this is a lot for a 15 year old kid with type 1 diabetes, a condition that already compromises the immune system.  Being here for my son this last month, and during another hospitalization the month prior, has forced me to resign from my employment which I'm sure any parent could understand. If there's anything, anyone can do to help we would be extremely grateful. Again, thank you all for your help and support throughout this very difficult time, and most importantly, for your thoughts and prayers.
