If ever there was a person who was genuinely good, honest, loving, and who actually cared about others, it's Billie. She's not only an amazing mother to 2 intelligent, and kind daughters, she also has foster custody of her younger brothers (now thriving as a result of her caregiving)
She tutors earth science at Chaffey college, prepares schoolwork for professors, volunteers at her children's school, collects donations for the homeless, organizes panels, discussions, and lectures about important issues, like; sexual abuse, criminal justice, foster care, education, and many many other important issues.
She does these things because she cares, she expects nothing in return.
On the day of her graduation her van broke down, she walked more than 2 miles in scorching heat, full cap and gown to make it, asked no one for a ride, no one knew until much later.
(That fix was 1,800)
She came home to substandard living conditions, not by her choice, her apartment that is falling apart from the inside is taken care of as well as it could be by her and ignored by management.
Over pays for an apartment in a dangerous neighborhood, because it's all she can afford...
As a full time mother, with 2 jobs, as a full time student, volunteer, and organizer of academic events.
The lights are almost turned off every month, the rent is paid on time every month, but every month is the month where there won't be enough.
The van broke down again 2 days ago, she gave someone $400 to fix it, they ended up getting a d.u.i and going to jail in it... now its impounded, she has no car, and no way to raise the money to get her cat out of impound when the 30 day hold is lifted.
Even if there was, it's just going to break down again.
She just got accepted into the university of Laverne
And may have to drop out because of lack of transportation, and faces homelessness without a working vehicle to go to work.
If she misses a month of rent, she WILL be evicted, her brother WILL be placed back in foster care, she WILL be homeless with 2 children (there's no support system for her)
And she will have to drop out of school.
She doesn't deserve this.
She tries, so hard, every single day
Just to keep from breaking down in tears from the financial problems eating away at her since of self.
The same financial problems that threaten the future of her children.
She's never asked anyone for anything more than a hug.
She wouldn't, she would feel like a burden to those that care about her.
But you should care about her, and you should help, because if she saw you where she is, she would give everything she had to help you.
She deserves to move, that's about 5,000, to move in, (first, last, deposit) that will also pay off electric and gas balances to turn them on in her name.
Another 5,000 to pay off the remainder owed on the van
(It'll be more than 3,000 to get it from impound after the hold is cleared, and that just gives her back her unreliable vehicle, so she will pay it off, and let the impound have it, she doesn't want to but there's not many other choices)
2,000 to put a down payment on a newer, more reliable car so she doesn't have to completely abandon going to school
And another 3,000 so she can buy food, do laundry, by hygiene products, enjoy a day with her family, and put away everything left so that way next time life gives her unexpected financial strain, she's prepared, and can handle it without being threatened with literally losing her family, her future, and her children's safety.
Thank you for even reading this.
I'm sorry, I know everyone is going through there own financial hardships nowadays, but, she tries so hard, every single day. She's such a good mother, and her work ethic is insanley good. She has such an amazing and promising future, and all of that is threatened by her current financial situation.
Billie has been an emotional, financial, and complete support for so many people, she has touched, and healed so many hearts, given confidence to victims of assault, and done everything in her power to see her children smile despite the world falling down around them.
Now she needs your help.
Please help her.
