Kevin Paddock Medical Expenses and Family Care

Donation protected
Hi everyone! On Tuesday, January 5th, my dad, Kevin Paddock, also known to many as Big Daddy, was taken by helicopter from Olney, Illinois to Evansville, Indiana with a brain bleed. He is currently in the ICU awaiting tests to learn more information about what is going on with his brain. We fear we have a long road of healing ahead of us but he is showing positive signs and we are full of hope! Kevin is an loving husband, incredible father to ELEVEN children, and the current chief of police in his small town in Illinois. Together with my mom, they have adopted 5 children from foster care and currently have 4 children in foster care. The size of this mans heart is unimaginable. Kevin is known for his willingness to help others, his integrity, and his compassion. But if you have been lucky enough to know him deeply, you likely remember him for his signature dance moves and overall GOOFINESS!! If you’ve been REALLY lucky, you may have even seen the music completely take control of him and stop his vehicle to get out and dance in the headlights like no one was watching. But they were. They were definitely watching. At this time, my mom will be traveling back and forth to Evansville from Olney to be with Kevin as much as possible. He is only allowed 1 visitor per calendar day. And it is crucial that she be there to get the most up to date information from his doctors. We have no idea how long he will be out of work, how long he will need to be in the hospital or what help he will need when he comes home. Any funds raised will go directly to helping our family while he is in the hospital and any medical bills accrued during this time. Kevin is never one to ask for help but always one of the first in line to help a friend, a neighbor or even a complete stranger and not think twice about it. He is by far, the hardest working human I have ever met in my entire life. I just want to help alleviate some of the stress that will undoubtedly come very soon so, both he and my mom, can focus on his quick recovery. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and please follow along on his CaringBridge site for updates on how he is doing!! https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kevinpaddock
