H.O.P.E It’s something we’re holding on to. Something we have been holding on to since the day Kristi received her positive test result of Covid-19 on December 16, 2020 and ended up in the hospital on December 19th. The initial hope was that it wouldn’t affect her much. Then it did. The next hope was that her hospital visit would be short. It hasn’t been. Our next hope was that she wouldn’t have to go on a ventilator or be intubated. Then she did. Now our hope is for her body to heal. We have hope that her doctors and nurses are doing everything they possibly can for her. We have no choice but to trust them because we can’t physically be there with her. So here we are, waiting and not giving up that hope. Ever. If you know Kristi you know she’s an amazing human being inside and out. She loves her family unconditionally. She’s extremely selfless and warm hearted but also a badass mama bear who fiercely protects the ones she loves. We never wanted to “ask” for money. We never thought it would come to this. But medical expenses are about to sky rocket as Kristi’s lungs are not healing as quickly as we would hope to see. Although her hospital bills are covered by insurance, Kristi will require around the clock care for a very long time once she gets home. This money will be for anything and everything to help aid in her recovery. Any amount you are able to give is appreciated beyond measure. All of it will be put towards her medical needs. Please know how much we appreciate all of your well wishes, prayers, positivity, good vibes and love. We see all your comments and can’t wait to be able to tell Kristi all that went on “behind the scenes” as she battled Covid. I can see her face now and it’s beaming. ❤️
