~ THE LEGENDS OF POOL ~ STEVE LEES FUNDRAISER As many of the 8 Ball Pool family may be aware, one of our LEGENDS of the game Steve Lees is very very ill, so we thought we would support him and his family by putting together a LEGENDS OF POOL FUNDRAISER. Our aim is to raise as much as we can for Steve and have created a ‘Go Fund Me Page’ where you can donate to as well. Here’s a little history on the LEGEND himself Steve has been a part of the 8 Ball Family for some 40+ years and has contributed so much over this time. Some of Steve’s achievements include: 20 time Queensland Open Teams Rep, 9 time Queensland Masters Team Rep, 3 time Queensland Rep in both Open and Masters Teams at once, 1984, 1997 Queensland Open State Singles winner, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 Queensland Singles Masters Champion, 1987, 2005 Open Queensland Australian Teams Title, 2015 Inducted into the QEBF Queensland Hall of Fame, This event we are holding is super special to us all and especially to Steve. We are working hard on raising as much as we can to support him through this time so any amount counts and is appreciated. We look forward to running this event next week and presenting Steve with a BIG FAT CHEQUE that will get him whatever he or his family need during this time. Thankyou!
