Support Natalie's Recovery
Donation protected
Natalie was riding in a Ranger on Sunday night and slipped out while riding in the back seat. She was raising up to adjust her shorts and lost her footing. Natalie fell face first out the side and suffered head trauma and facial fractures. She was flown by Medevac to Midland Memorial Hospital and after multiple CT scans, the doctors determined she has some bleeding on her brain and some blood clots. The neurosurgeon said those have remained stable at this time. She fractured her sinus cavity, jaw, temple, forehead, cheek bone and eye socket. Fortunately the fractures should heal over time. She currently doesn't have any hearing in her right ear, but they are hoping the blood and fluid can be drained and that it's not permanent. Her vision in her right eye is very blurry. She has a bone fragment laying on her optic nerve behind her eye which would be a major surgery if they choose to remove it. Due to those injuries she will need to see an ENT doctor, Ophthalmologist, and a Neurologist upon returning home to see what they can do to improve her hearing and vision. Natalie will also start working with a speech therapist. The doctors have said that this will be a very long recovery. Her husband, Beau has taken off work to be by her side and help her recover. Natalie had just returned to work after an extensive recovery from her latest shoulder surgery. If you would like to contribute during this time to help with her massive medical expenses, it would be greatly appreciated by the Blair family.
