The town that I grew up in was burned to the ground on Thursday this week. Most people don’t know if they even have houses to go back to and the town itself has said this may not be something they can recover from.

They had to evacuate so quickly that most people only left with the shirts on their backs.

Right now my family and the larger community needs money to help with day to day things like buying new clothes and toiletries as well as everything else we need to live. I plan to first help my family where needed and then want to spread the money out to the community by helping others with their day to day needs that might include food, clothing, and housing if possible.
