The Unfortunate Passing of Ayewa Vicky Aklikokou

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the loss of Ayewa Vicky Aklikokou. A wife, mother, grand mother, daughter, sister, caregiver, and friend to many, she has touched many souls with her warm and positive energy.

First diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2019, her faith was able to get her through various procedures, radiation and chemotherapy treatments. By God's Grace, she was able to overcome her first fight and was back on her feet.

Unfortunately, in the summer of 2020 she was diagnosed with aggressive metastatic breast cancer. She began working with her doctors to fight through just as she did the first time. Still, her faith was unshaken. Throughout her many treatments, she maintained her positive attitude and hope.

However God's plan is the master plan and He called His daughter home on January 3rd, 2021. She fought a great fight and is now at peace in the bosom of her Father.

As we prepare for her funeral arrangements, the Aklikokou family appreciates any amount you are able to donate and thank you for your prayers in this time of grieving. "Yaya" will be missed but will always be remembered for her beautiful spirit.
