It is in a beautiful and blessed month such as Ramadan where our hearts are at their most generous. One of the blessings from this month is to create a sense of empathy within ourselves for those who are less fortunate. Causes most dear to myself are those concerning children. Albeit a modest goal, I hope that with the help of this beautiful ummah, we can collectively raise, at the very LEAST, $1,000, for an amazing organization that caters to orphaned children. If however you have a preference for another organization, please comment with the denomination you donated, and the organization you'd like the money to go towards, as long as the theme is consistent with children. May Allah swt forgive us for our shortcomings and grant us jannah for this effort inshaAllah.
