Toys For Kids With Cancer

My name Is Sammy Deeb. In March 2016, my cousin Khaled was diagnosed with Leukemia. After fighting like a solider for two and a half years Khaled passed away on September 16th 2018. Through my cousin Khaled’s fight, I learned that coming together and being one big family is what put a smile on his face day in and day out. This Thanksgiving in memory of Khaled and all those lost from cancer let us come together and show our love to those that will be stuck in a hospital over the holiday. Often many cancer patients are not able to leave the hospital due to the severity of their illness. I currently live in the greater Denver area and will be starting a GoFundMe for those who would like to donate money for toys. I will also provide my address to anyone who would like to send gifts to be donated. The GoFundMe will be open until November 22nd. On November 23rd, I will go shopping and buy gifts I feel are appropriate for kids with cancer. On Thanksgiving Day, I will be hand delivering gifts to patients enrolled at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. All donations made will mean a lot to myself and many patients and families of patients struggling. It is important to remember that Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for what we have and what we receive. Therefor no matter what the size of the donation, many people will be thankful for your act of kindness. I will upload pictures of me delivering gifts at the hospital.
