A New Bass For Elisha

Hello everyone,

My name is Elisha Martin, I am 17 years old, I play electric and double bass, and soon will be celebrating 12 years of music study. I am starting 12th grade this school year and, as a young musician who will continue on to rigorous college auditions, I am approaching a difficult place, as I have reached the limits of my instrument.

I have had my double bass for many years and, it being a student model instrument, it can't keep up with my professional aspirations. My dream is to play in a professional orchestra, to play with an awesome big band , to record a golden record, and to produce other musicians and people through my own music label. However, to get there I need an intrument that can go as far as life can give.

I started my search for such a bass and found out that I was not going to able to do this by myself. Professional basses can range from $5,000 to $125,000. There is no way I could do this by myself, which is why I am reaching out to you.

I am asking for everyone, if possible, to donate and help me raise funds for a professional bass, not only for college, but for life and this one major thing that God has graced me to be apart of: the vast, beautiful and entracing world of music.
