"SAVE A LIFE, SAVE HUMANITY"

Humanitarian Day (HDAY) since its founding in 2000, has inspired over 50,000 people to help those less fortunate in their local area. It directs nearly $100,000 worth of in-kind services and gift items to those chronically homeless and in need annually. We are requesting your assistance to do more. 

HDAY is under Systems for Human Empowerment, a 501c 3 organization based in South Los Angeles, affectionately known as Intellect, Love, Mercy (ILM) Foundation.  ILM was founded by Imam Saadiq Saafir, Naim Shah Jr and Hanafi Shakur.  Umar Hakim is the current executive director.


Invest in HDAY & Help Us:
1) Distribute 3,500 additional gift bags. 
2) Increase from 5 to 10 events a year. 
3) Improve program logistics and security.  
4) Host HDAY leadership symposiums. 
5) Build the capacity of partner homeless organizations.
