Neil Fine’s Memorial

During the morning of Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2020 Neil Fine passed away unexpectedly. He is the father of two: Hailey and Sebastian. Neil had the gift of befriending anyone he encountered and an impeccable ability to keep everyone in mind making conversations feel as if they never truly ended. Though separated in households, Neil and his ex-wife Jaime support their son, 21, in obtaining his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology as a first-generation student and their daughter, 19, in pursuing Pharmacology. He marveled at his kids’ progress and never missed the opportunity to share how proud he was of them, but the ability to see the completion of their accomplishments took a different course. He loved the ocean and fishing with plans to travel after retiring, but the future was never his worry. Financially he was able to maintain, but pandemic hardships left him unemployed. As his children, we are asking for support in finding closure with our dad and relieving some of the onset stress of finances unpreparedly found in processing loss. The sunrises differently without him, but we are grateful to immortalize him in our memory. Thank you and we hope during these unprecedented times the meaning of family flourishes.
