Dad’s recovery

As many of you know, my dad Bill had a massive heart attack caused by two blocked major arteries. He had 5 stints put in and is now in the ICU. He has a balloon pump to help his heart pump blood. His heart was working only at 25% capacity as of Wednesday after the heart attack occurred. His blood pressure is still too low for the pump to be taken out, so he will be transferred to a heart failure center at a hospital that can have a team give dad specialized care. What to do next will be decided when he arrives at the new hospital, but there is the possibility to have an implant put in his heart to pump for him or a heart transplant. He’s been talkative the whole time and is trying to remain in good spirits. We’re trying to remain as hopeful as we can and praying constantly. Any donations will go towards medical costs such as his ICU stay and any other future procedure he may have. We’re praying for a quick recovery.
