Nigel Savage Funeral Fundraiser

My dad, Nigel Savage, sadly passed away just before the New Year. He was 57.

NIGEL'S LIFE

Born Nigel Boyton on 1/3/1963, Nigel was adopted into the Savage family at a very young age and was brought up on a healthy diet of compassion, intelligence and pride.

Nigel met my mum in '95, I was born in '96 and we stayed as a strong family for over 20 years. 

If Nigels life had to be summed up in three words, I believe they would be Family, Craftsmanship and Passion. 

I am asking for help from those who knew my dad for a contribution of any amount to go towards the cost of the funeral and any additional pieces (flowers). 

WHY NOT TAKE THE GOVERNMENT GRANT? 

This has been pondered and the only available government assistance is the "Funeral Grant" which would provide £1000 towards the cost, however it must be paid back with interest on a payment plan. I want it made clear that I'm in no position, as a 24 year old next of kin, to be making promises on payment plans I know I don't have money for.
